About: North Ayrshire Council - Irvine, Garnock Valley and Community Alarm

(as a service user),

I have carers from the council four times a day; breakfast, lunch, dinner and to put me to bed. I used to have a private company, Premier care for the last visit as the council were coming too early and I wasn’t happy with the service. Recently the council have taken over from all Premier care services so they are now providing all my care again. I’m happy though as I have kept my 9. 30pm slot.

The service is excellent. The two girls I have are excellent, the way they treat me and the things they do. They sit and chat with me and make sure I’m ok, I feel looked after. They wouldn’t walk out my house if things weren’t right. When I’m not well they phone my sister and they stay longer than my allocated time. I’m happy with everything.
