I was a patient on Taylor Ward at Tameside Hospital (Pennine Care). I had been there for 2 years and was getting better, so it was decided I would be given home leave. I came back as arranged, but was asked to go home again as my bed had been given to someone else. This should not have happened as my Sec 17 said I had to be with family at all times but my husband would have been at work. We were very angry as we were not even informed in the afternoon when they already knew the problem. After this happened it happened constantly. It caused me a lot of anxiety. At one point it was offered to me that I could sleep in the ladies lounge. After that I had a good discussion with my consultant and because of the anxiety it was causing I was able to be discharged.
