My son was a day patient and was in ward 15. Wanted to say a massive thank you to all the staff concerned in making my son's visit a very pleasant and happy one!
With my boy only being 5 all the staff were so lovely to him and instead of him being scared he giggled and smiled all the way through his experience! Nurses were very warm and put him at ease and the anaesthetist for his funny faces explaining how he would feel when getting his medications to the theatre staff who were there when he woke up, until we were allowed to see him, to which we found him smiling away after his small op!
Thank you to all concerned and am sure if the word hospital is mentioned again we won't have a scared 5 year old on our hands!
Doing a great job...thank you ..
