I was fortunate in being selected to have a procedure scheduled at Duchy Hospital, Truro. From the moment I arrived right up to discharge I was treated with respect and dignity. The staff were amazing and explained everything to me ensuring I fully understood what was going to happen. A special thanks is due to the team in the ambulatory care unit for their dedication and professionalism. The other ever present nurse was equally impressive. I must also extend my thanks to my consultant and their team. Not only did the cosultant explain fully what the procedure was going to be but also visited me post operation to explain what had been found and the likely course of future care. My thanks to you all. My wife who came to collect me was so impressed with what she saw, together with what I told her, that she is now going to take out private medical insurance with BUPA.
