"day surgery i had yesturday"

I was very nervous going in as this was my very first operation and general anestic and i did not no what to expect. The nurses were great proir the op surgeon was very helpful explaining what was going to happen. The anethanist was great too laugh and jokee with me. As i went down to theathre all the threater team was so nice and the nurse in the recovery bay. However. What ruined by experience was the nurses in the recovery day surgery unit. They spoke to me twice never one asked me how i felt didnt off we any water after. I was in that much pain i had to ask the student nurse for pain killers. No after care given atall then the next thing was the nurse closed my curtains and said right get dressed u can wait in the discharge lounge. Very disapointed to what started off to good service.
