My teenage son decided to try parkour - jumping off walls and so on to demonstrate his acrobatic finest and the floor won.
He woke the next day with a swollen lower leg and pain. He was taken to the emergency department at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary and from start to finish was treated superbly. Caring receptionists, nurses, radiologists and doctors all treated him quickly and professionally.
From initial assessment to discharge was quick and efficient. Don't believe the stories - our NHS is the best health service in the world.
