"Wallet lost at Selly Oak"

my father was admitted to selly oak hospital birmingham on friday last, whilst taken for a x ray he left a diary on the bed with money in it. on his return there was £300 gone the staff checked with myself to see if he had that amount on him,i confirmed he had they said they would contact the police reference this but it is know wednesday, and still nothing has been done about this. im not very happy about this as my father is too ill to follow this up.
