What I liked

I have been in & out of hospital many times this year, each time the staff on the wards have been very curteous and explained all my treatments. I have also had to stay in other hospitals due to the L&D not having this service, but if it was choice I would prefer to have all my treatment at the L&D.

What could be improved

Nothing other than a coat of paint around corridor etc.

Anything else?

Cheaper car parking for my family

Thank you for your positive comments about your treatment at the L&D.

With regard to the paintwork we have an extensive staged programme of refurbishment underway to improve the hospital environment.

On car parking compared with most hospitals our car parking charges are relatively modest. We make this charge to cover the costs of providing safe parking (security, lighting etc.) However we also provide a range of concessions for many patients and families - i.e. chemotherapy, maternity, renal care etc.
