"Ward 6 & 12"

About: Blackpool Victoria Hospital

Healthcare Assistants that think they are Nurses, with an attitude to match. Poor communication. Lack of help when needed. Small meals even when you want a large meal. Was told by a staff member that everyone gets the same servings regardless whether you want small, medium or large portions. Way too hot in the two wards. Some patients with serious mental health issues mixed with others. I was kept awake the entire night by one patient until I complained and was moved to another bay. The worst problem is attitude by several staff members. If they are overworked, then it is not fair that poorly patients pay the price for it. Ward 6 & 12 are terrible and I'd never return to either ever again
