What I liked
Caring consultant and associated nursing staff.
Chemo nurses had excellent needle and people skills.
Good response when problems with chemo.
Once diagnosis was made treatment, and associated scans were efficicient and prompt.
What could be improved
It took a long time for hospital to respond to my initial referral from GP. It took my GP several reminders to get my first CT scan, which was an essential part of diagnosis.
Anything else?
I had a course of chemotherap.y following diagnosis of lymphoma. Once the diagnosis was made, I was referred to the excellent Woodlands centre. This is a gem, with confident, caring skilled staff who respond to patients with sensitivity. I felt that they managed the level of advice, instructionand care well to the needs of the patient and their ability to comprehend the scope of their condition.
