"Nothing really..."

About: Hinchingbrooke Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

Nothing really...

What could be improved

Where do I start?

Nurses-Rude, unhelpful, uncaring. Left Grandmother in the same wet incontinence pad for 36 hours. Then left her on a commode on her own after being told not to leave her out of bed anywhere as she is immobile and whilst left she fell and got a bad head injury and cracked a bone in her arm. They then left her again 2 days later on said commode. What is going on? All the ladie sin the bay were freezing but the nurse refused to shut the window because SHE was stuffy and hot. Surely patients come first? Doctor asked Nurse to put IV fluids back up as she was dehydrated but it took them 7 hours to do it by which time she was barely lucid due to dehydration.

Anything else?

Nobody seemed to know what was happening at all an nobody monitored her eating for the frist 5 days so on day 6 they reliased she had been eating NOTHING at all. It's just not good enough. Buzzers were taking on average 40-50 minutes to be answered and there was ALWAYS at least 2 nurses at the station at all times....doingwhat I do not know.
