"Felt dismissed"

I had an appointment with a rheumatologist at main hospital. I had to travel by bus which took over an hour. I arrived promptly and was called after a couple of minutes. The rheumatologist then told me they had a student with them, never asked if it was ok. The doctor was rather aloof & cold, when I mentioned pain in my shoulders, wrists & thumbs they had a quick look at my hands & said they couldnt see any inflammation, just to carry on with my medication & I would be seen in 6 months. No proper examination, I never even got to take my jacket off. I felt totally dismissed and like I was wasting their time.
