What I liked

clean and open waiting area, doctor we saw was helpfull.

What could be improved

Wilewe were waiting to be seen (3hrs later) was that a lady came in from a taxi doubled up in tears and in great pain. She was unable to stand up but nobody would come to her help even in the hospital. One of the people asked reception for some help but was told that the lady had to come to the window and give details herself before anything could be done!! She couldn't even stand up! Everybody was shocked, even more so as there were 3 paramedics watching behind the glass, and the triage person walked past her 4 times totally ignoring her.

Finally we got some paper and pen and wrote the details of the lady down and conveyed this to the reception who finally processed it. The whole experience surprised and shocked many people in the waiting room as the response was that they were not insured to exit from their reception to the waiting room.

I've never seen this before and since this was the first time I have been to Watford A&E since Hemel closed it's hard to change first impressions....
