"A&E Thurs 11th June"

About: Good Hope Hospital

I had to go to A&E yesterday as I had a problem with Migraine auras. The registration process was quick and easy and I was impressed with the atmosphere. Having moved to Lichfield from London I was used to the Large London hospitals which is a different experience altogether. The staff were friendly informative and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The Doctors checked me carefully and thoroughly explaining what they were doing as they went, and so I felt a part of the process. I arrived at 5pm and was out and on the way home at 7pm. Today I received a call from the Hospital booking me an appointment next week with a Specialist. This is a very high level of service and all the Staff and Medical professionals at the Good Hope should be congratulated, my thanks to all of them.

Thank you for your post regarding your recent experience at Good Hope Hospital.

I am so pleased to read that you found the the service you received to be positive and that you felt comfortable and relaxed as well as being kept well informed, and appropriate follow up being arranged in a timely manner.

I will ensure that your feedback is forwarded to Dr Ola Erinfolami Clinical Director for Emergency Services as well as the Interim Matron for the Emergency Department this week, Clare Bulpitt, as well as to Richard Beavan-Parsons Operations Manager. I'm sure they will be thrilled and will ensure that your feedback is communicated to all of the Emergency Team at Good Hope Hospital who work extremely hard to ensure a positive patient experience, despite often difficult circumstances.

I hope this is acceptable and once again thank you for taking the time out to post your comments. Patient Feedback is extremely important to us.
