This is my second hip replacement at Southmead, this one at the new hospital. I cannot speak highly enough about all the staff and the care I received. The food is acceptable and there is always a reasonable choice. I stayed for 3 days and the only time I could have cause for complaint was an evening when we had a bank staff nurse in charge. Their lack of care and concern really polarised how good Southmead staff are. Even though Southmead staff were really busy they always made time for you with a cheery smile.
