"Its amazing how much it can improve somebody's quality of life"

I have been a patient here since I was 17 years old (with an underdeveloped lower jaw and major overcrowding of teeth). I am now 22 with a perfect result which was well worth it: the treatment and care offered by this department when somebody needs it is amazing. They strive for perfection.

I had braces to straighten my teeth, followed by corrective jaw surgery to fix my severe overbite, and continuing check-ups and care to keep my teeth and new bite perfect. The surgery was worthwhile, and I was always made to feel like it was my own choice: the team helped me to make an informed one.

I decided to have the surgery, and have since felt completely liberated in terms of confidence, and can now bite into a sandwich like a normal person without feeling the need to eat in private! ! The entire team were great and I will miss the friendly service they give me every time I visit.

If I hadn't had the treatment I would not be the person I am today, and its hard to believe that the orthodontics department can often be considered as not important! I hope more people are able to access such a fabulous service as I have, its amazing how much it can improve somebody's quality of life.
