I had a THR (total hip replacement) 28 May 2015. The Theatre and Recovery Staff were wonderful ambassadors for CGH and the NHS. I was transferred from Recovery by the smiling and welcoming Staff Nurse to Alstone Ward. Everyone from the consultant and their team, Ward Doctors and Sisters, Staff Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Student Nurses, Housekeepers and Cleaning Staff were awesome! My whole 5 day ward experience was so positive and happy, it did help that I shared a 6 bed bay with 5 smashing ladies! Today is my 6th day post discharge and I am doing very well. So thank you to an exceptional, professional, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly team. You are all magnificent representatives for Alstone Ward and The NHS. I wish you success and happiness on your career pathways.
