"Waiting time 3 months more than"

I attended for a consultation - all great. I was told if I had the procedure done asap the success rate was 60-70% but if left for a year, the success rate drops to 40-50%. OK. Then I was told it would take 4 or 5 months to have me in. It has now been 7 seven months and still no word - success rate must also have dropped by now from the original 60-70%. Is there a problem at Papworth with treating patients from out of the district?? Holding them back on the waiting list and lowering the chances of success accordingly. Papworth has a brilliant reputation but ...... I'm really disappointed.
