"Arthur South Day Care Procedure Unit"

(Referral from Gynaecology) This review is for Day Care. I came into The Arthur South Day Care Procedure Unit on 29th April for removal of a huge ovarian cyst, ovary and both tubes, quite big surgery for day care I was told....Got there for 7am as requested, by 7:10am I was being admitted. First on the list, in theatre by 8:30am, came back round by about 10:45am. Was served tea and toast which I promptly threw straight back up again!! The staff were fantastic and my consultant was absolutely brilliant.....a genius! Home by 1:30pm, although I don't really remember the journey home. I was terrified in the run up and at my pre-op assessments but I needn't of been, all the staff in Day Care were lovely. Thank you so much to all the staff who looked after me. I've recovered well.
