"15 months and still waiting"

About: Royal Gwent Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I had an MRI scan in January 2014 and saw the orthopaedic consultant in February, which suggested a nerve block. I even signed the consent forms there and then, but haven't hear anything back. My GP even wrote a letter and didn't get a response. It's been 15 months and still waiting.

I know the NHS is stretched, but this is beyond acceptable.

Could you email abhb.enquiries@wales.nhs.uk and we can look into this for you.

Kind regards

Done that and got a quick response. Nerve block is now planned. Shame, I had to take that rout though before anything was done.
