Needed to register with Warfarin Clinic in Kettering General Hospital today (26th May15), Had a long wait but apart from that the staff were excellent. I was seen by a Nurse. I thought it was going to be a shouting match as I wasn't willing to lower my warfarin while my INR is giving a low reading! Buy no, to my surprise the Nurse was very understand and listened to what I had to say, unusual for a health professional! The Nurse also told me things no Doctor, Specialist or Anticoagulation Nurse ever did, it was a pleasure to see the Nurse, they were amazing. I could see that the Nurse was getting frustrated at my scatty information but they didn't take it out on me and carried on regardless. Thank you very much for putting an awkward, stressed out and worried patient at ease and thank you once again for the referral name! You're great :) X PS It would be nice to have warfarin clinic in the choices!?!?!
