I was admitted to ward J26 after being rushed to a&e. I had numerous tests done and was treated extremely well by all staff and doctors who dealt with me. My consultant was excellent when I was a bit overwhelmed with being told I had pneumonia and made sure I was kept up to date on my care and what was going on. Ward staff were excellent, although the bathroom facilities would have been much cleaner, but as I was on the acute medical unit they were all extremely busy. Food wasn't bad by hospital standards. Only downside is paying for TV but it was good once I had paid.
"Unexpected stay lead to excellent care"
