"Excellent team effort"

I have been a patient several times over the last few years at the QE hospital in Gateshead. Each and every time I have visited as an out-patient or been admitted as an in-patient I have found all of the staff from the most senior doctors through to the domestic assistants to be most helpful, courteous and professional in their dealings with me (and my visitors). I have been admitted following diagnoses of ulcerative colitis flare-up and more recently of heart failure. I cannot recommend too strongly to anyone concerned that the total team in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Gateshead will ensure their stay will be as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
