"Ectopic Pregnancy"

About: Darent Valley Hospital / Gynaecology Darent Valley Hospital / Maternity

(as a relative),

My daughter was admitted via A&E to Mulberry Ward where she was treated with compassion, empathy, kindness and professionalism for an ectopic pregnancy.

The waiting time in A&E was very long and obviously distressing. It was unfortunate that the EPU, which my daughter had visited earlier in the day and had once again had been treated with kindness and compassion, was closed so she had no choice but to go to A&E when her symptoms began.

If there could possibly be a direct route to the EPU out of hours this would support the patient and reduce the stress on A&E.

Dear Granary

Thank you for your lovely words about EPU, which will passed onto the staff involved in your daughters care. We have also taken on board your comments regarding an out of hours service and will look into this.

Kind regards

Dear Granary Thank you for this glowing review of both A&E and Mulberry Ward. Your comments including the out of hours service suggestion have been passed onto both teams. With best wishes The Communications Team Darent Valley Hospital
