About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I was admitted to the new Day Surgery Unit at Queen Margaret Hospital last week for an orthopaedic procedure on my knee under Mr Walmsley. The care and attention given my the medical and nursing staff was excellent. The unit was bright and airy and spotlessly clean. An excellent facility.

I had to stay in over night as I needed a longer recuperation time and the night staff were also excellent, very attentive and caring. I was also seen by the Dr on duty overnight.

I was discharged early the next day.
