As parents of a child who has just spent 11 months in Great Ormond Street (GOSH), (far from ideal - don't believe the hype) our son needed an emergency admission to our local hospital (Queen's Hospital, Romford). There is an agreement and protocol for our son's needs between GOSH and Queens this was ignored. We later found they did not have it even though we were told they did. He was started on incorrect antibiotics and as parents we were totally ignored when we pointed this out. In my opinion this is an appalling situation, which is still continuing.
