I've just spent a couple of days on Red Ward in Medical Admissions Unit and can't praise the care I've had there. I was lucky and got referred by GP, and didn't have the long wait in reception experience. The medical assessment staff were brilliant, and the Surgeon who assessed me was very proficient as was was the member of staff who took over. Staff on Red ward worked non stop, and dealt sympathetically with patients. Food deserves a mention as every meal was first class, with varied selection each time. On my first day I had roast beef dinner and even the Yorkshire Pudding wasn't soggy 10/10. Thanks to everyone all who work under ever cost cutting conditions. Due to this I feel my bed was needed, so I was discharged rather too quickly, and wish I could have had the expert care for a bit longer. Impressed completely.
