I don't normally leave bad feedback but enough is enough. Partner had a c section 5 weeks ago. This week has come across major heavy bleeding. Gp told us it was a womb infection and prescribed antibiotics. 2 days later had to visit a & e. Due to increased bleeding and pain. Reception was great in handling us. However never been so annoyed at this hospital. Told to do a urine sample. Which was then told to leave it on the side. 30 mins later and it's still there. Urine sample full of blood. Workers talking in their own language which makes you feel uncomfortable. Our doctor was OK but when asking questions about what it could be, hearing not sure until blood tests come back don't answer the questions especially when blood tests can't answer the what if question. Felt like we was wasting time. When our doctor asked a assistant to do the urine test. They were told to hurry back as another job was needed. They still have not done the test. We then was asked to go into a cubicle for blood tests and checks etc. while someone else was in there. Uncomfortable is not the word to describe that. Asking people to come through to another bit but can't actually care for the patient. What was the point in asking us to come through. I understand that it gets busy but come on. A bit of commonsense and treating people as individuals is all that's needed. Still waiting for the urine sample and it's now been an hour. Someone has moved it to the top of the bin. Hygiene? But people sugar coat the real issues here. Im currently seeing the person that was asked to do the urine sample sorting out empty pots in a draw. I understand and I do mean that but come in enough is enough.
