Choose and book should be abolished.

I rang the number on the letter i was sent about choose and book for appointments. I gave my number and password and was assurred someone would contact me with my appointment. I gave both my mobile and home numbers. Noone contacted me. I then was told by my gp that i had missed an appointment, and that the hospital were annoyed. Apologies for not being pyschic, but how am i expected to attend an appointment i know nothing about? Useless. I have had other bad experiences of this hospital- eg my maternity scans where twice mixed up with someone elses, and due to a doctor laughing off what i told him about difficulties in my previous pregnancy, my son was born 4 months early and could have died.this hospital is a disgrace.
