This morning at 7.30am I arrived at A&E with my mum due to heart concerns we were seen by very pleasant assessment nurse within seconds we then waited for no more than half hour to be seen by another nurse (who took bloods, did an ECG and blood pressure and then asked to take a seat and 8.30 called into major department, where my mum was placed in a cubicle. Within minutes a wonderful doctor, and a trainee doctor, also very, nice assessed mum, sent her for chest X-ray within 20 minutes after going through concerns with us both and feedback on blood results and Ecg. We were then asked to go into a unit which I cannot remember the name of to wait, around 10am the doctor and trainee came and took us again into private area to discuss results and discharged mum at 11.30am. This journey was absolutely professional and reassuring and I can't thank the staff involved enough and with all the pressures we know they are under this was in my opinion very thorough, professional and this showed the care and understanding of all those staff involved at A&E when there is so much negativity with this department I have to disagree.
"Excellent service at A&E for my mum"
