What I liked
The exemplary treatment that I received from all members of staff: from the reception area, to treatment.
The healthcare professionals that attended to me excelled in their medical care, investigative reasoning, and bedside manner. My experience couldn't have been more efficient and enjoyable.
I left the hospital with my first stage of treatment a success, and with full knowledge of my affliction and its treatment practice. I was seen in just 1.5 hours even though the waiting room was almost full when I arrived! I can't be happier with the whole experience! Thank you, Cheltenham Hospital staff!
What could be improved
The only improvement I could envisage would be the use of WD-40 on the squeaky waiting-room chairs!
Anything else?
The NHS is a truly wonderful organisation and the envy of most other countries' healthcare systems. In a time of increased patient load with less than overwhelming resources, resulting in added stress for staff and patients, the fact that such first-class treatment remains free at the point of use should be in everyone's minds when they use an NHS service.
Where else in the world can the public be entitled to free medical care for whatever their conditions? I thank the NHS and its staff, and any government who continually invests in our world-class healthcare system!
