"Long wait for Mother-in-Law in A&E"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a relative),

Admitted at 05:00 on Tuesday, waited for 5 hours before getting a drink then was left in the A&E department for a further 8 hours without being offered any food.

This is outrageous, 77 year old lady with MS and Raynaud's left on a bed offered no food for over 12 hours.

I look forward to your reply.
