"Arthroscopic Knee Surgery"

About: Royal Derby Hospital

My 16 year old son recently had surgery at the Royal Derby Hospital to repair some damaged cartilage in his knee. Prior to the operation, he was quite apprehensive about the prospect of surgery but the staff on ward 207 and in the operating theatres in particular, were extremely kind and reassuring and really helped to put him at ease. His Consultant also took time to ensure he fully understood the surgery he required and the likely recovery period. I would highly recommend the Royal Derby Hospital to others requiring similar surgery.
