My mother was dealt with very quickly and efficiently in A & E Then moved onto Ricmond ward staff were fantastic and helpful. Then was put onto Allingham Ward 9not really correct ward but at least she had a bed) Staff were fantastic even though trainee doctors were using her for target practice. just seems wrong somehow to let an 87 year old get treated by 11 different doctors in the course of 7 hours ( not always communicating with each other and even nurses were getting confused as to what was happening} After see med .reg., cardiologist ,respiratory consultant ,4 trainee vampires, physio. and several nurses of all grades and a wonderful HCA who was more attentive than anyone could imagine possible my mother has eventually been moved to H D U where she is now being treated expertly with dignity and is a little better today. Thank you to all the staff involved. I work in a hospital in Gloucestershire and realise what pressure the NHS is under but couldn't have asked for better.
