"Incredible"

About: Eastbourne District General Hospital

I was initially refered to Eastbourne DGH with chest pains by my GP. I had a brief stress-test on a treadmill. Within a couple of weeks I had an angiogram and a couple of weeks after that 4 stents were fitted to my coronary arteries. I now feel better than I have felt for years! The whole process starting at Old School surgery in Seaford to being discharged from Eastbourne DGH was efficient, caring and very effective. Everything about my experience flies in the face of the nonsense one reads in the press about our 'failing NHS'. Nothing could have been done better, the staff at all levels were lovely and made me feel safe and cared for when actually I was quite concerned about everything. Even the food was great. I can't say more - just a fantastic experience and a special thanks to my nurses and the irrepresible Consultant and his team.
