Dalton surgery, huddersfield
I am a patient of the surgery and had telephoned in to make an appointment and over heard the conversation of another member of the surgery staff speaking to someone in the background.
The member of staff asked the patient/ client she was talking to what their Christian name was?
While I'm a Christian it would not offend me, but we do live in a multi cultural town it might offend others. I would have thought all surgery staff would have been trained in issues around cultural diversity, this may be a training issue.
