"professional and very caring attitude of nurse in bladder clinic"

About: Bromley Healthcare / Bladder and bowel management (continence)

(as the patient),

I had my first meeting about a lifelong problem of an overactive bladder and stress incontinence.

My nurse explained things so well and had such a lovely manner which made the whole experience almost pleasurable! these issues are sometimes embarassing to talk about but I had no such problem.

I am now going to do my pelvic floor exercises and retrain my bladder and look forward to my next appt in six weeks time.

Thank you for your posting and I guess I am sorry that it has taken a lifetime to start to get the issue sorted!!

We recognise how important an initial consultation is in building a supportive relationship with your healthcare worker and I am so pleased that the Bladder and Bowel service in Bromley Healthcare were able to ensure you were as relaxed as possible!

If you feel there are things that we can improve on please do not hesitate to come back onto this site and place a posting.

Have a lovely weekend

Kind regards

Amanda
