My Grandad, Roland Todd, sadly passed away yesterday morning after quite a fight - he had his reasons for waiting and chose to leave when he did. Thanks to the staff on this ward - the consultant and everyone involved, he was able to have his family there around the clock. The staff treat my Grandad with respect and kindness and it was really nice to see for the family. His dignity and pride remained with him. The kindness shown by every single member of staff towards my Grandad, my little Nanna and all of us who remained by his side was something I struggle right now to describe. I give a very heartfelt thank you to you all for helping us when we needed it. You are all an absolute credit to the service... Diamonds. I am pleased you got to meet the man that I am proud to call my Grandad. Thank you xxx Roland Todd Jnr Jnr
