"I have personally never experienced any problem"

About: Lorn & Islands Hospital / Medical Oncology NHS Highland (Health)

(as the patient),

Two years ago I was diagnosed with bowel cancer and was successfully treated at the Lorn and Islands Hospital. I have also been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and am treated for this at the Lorn Medical Practice. I have no problems in getting appointments to be seen by my GP and have found that within the NHS where a need arises the need is met. The health service is coming under sustained attack and is criticized although I have personally never experienced any problem.

Dear Expert269

I am sorry to learn of your health worries but its great to hear that you are happy with your care and treatment. With a diagnosis of bowel cancer and type 2 diabetes you will have experienced the range of services. I am glad this has all worked well for you and that you feel you have been well looked after.

Thank you so much for your positive feed-back which I will share with staff.
