(as a relative),

I am writing this update on unbearable pain. I still have no operation a few pre op appointments and promises it will be done soon.

Now we hear nothing phone calls go round in circles and are never returned the pain of everyday life is to much depression has been bad I have no life anything I do causes more pain I missed my mums funeral as I could not run around to get a passport if Darent Valley cant do the operation refer me to somewhere that can.

I've had enough and am on the verge of seeking legal advice.

We are sorry to see that you are in such pain but without knowing who you are we cannot look into your particular circumstances.

We suggest that you contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on 01322 428382 or via email at pals@dvh.nhs.uk who can then act as your advocate and look into why you haven't heard back from the hospital.

We are concerned that you are in pain and of course would like you to be as pain free as possible. We would also recommend that you return to your GP to make them aware of how this affecting you and to keep them up to date with your progress. If you are still unhappy with the service that you have recieved, your GP will also be able to refer you to another hospital if you so wish.

the gp is aware and has contacted the hospital which led to my last pre op appointment but will phone pals today thank you
