Oh how I love being told I am mentally exhausting.

I really have lost all faith in services thanks to my cpn telling me that I mentally exhaust her and she can no longer deal with me on her own. Therefore the weeks where "she doesn't feel she can support me" she will send another cpn to see me.

Want to complain but don't think that would get me anywhere. Told I can't talk to her about difficult experiences and have to see psychology but told I'm not stable enough to see psychology despite it being over a year since I last overdosed and a dramatically reduced number of self harm.

What am I meant to do? As I am not being supported whatsoever by services.

Thank you for taking the time to post about your experience. At Aire Court we do our best to support a number of people with a wide range of needs. We attempt to design a care plan to meet the needs, of each each individual person. We are always keen to receive feedback, to learn and to improve our service. I am sorry that you don't feel we have supported you. If you would like to get in touch with either me (Sue McCartney)or one of the other Clinical Leads we can look into what has gone wrong, review your care plan and find a way to work together.

Often, when we work with people who have complex needs we take a team approach where members of the multi-disciplinary team are consulted and a plan of care (CPA) developed to meet the individuals needs. This can mean that support is offered by more than one person and that contacts or visits will have a different focus and are delivered by differernt team members who may have a range of different skills. This will be with your agreement and as part of your care plan, the aim being to support you in your recovery. Reviews of the care plan are arranged where changes are made reflecting your changing needs. Sometimes other services or teams contribute to this process if they have been identified as being the best people to support you.
