Hello,
I've been remiss in giving thanks to people in the NHS who are deserving of it. One example are the midwives at Kirkcaldy Victoria Hospital in August 2012 who helped bring our son into the world.
While it is obvious that labour is more difficult for women than it is for men, it is not easy watching your partner in the pain of labour! However, it is in no small part of the actions of the midwives at Victoria Hospital that this process was made a lot easier!
My thanks especially go to a midwife named Georgina (I think that was her first name, I can't remember her second name) who was with us throughout the whole experience of giving birth and was an absolute bedrock of support in helping my partner (and I) through the whole process of bringing our son into the world!
So please pass on my shockingly, unbelievably late thanks to the midwives at Victoria Hospital and especially to Georgina for doing an excellent job with my partner's labour! Again thanks to their care during the labour and afterwards made the whole process easier for both my partner and I!
"Giving our thanks"
