My grandson has had a difficult relationship with his mother which culminated him experiencing anger and mental health issues and her throwing him out last July. My son has never had a full relationship with his son's mother although we have all tried to support my grandson when allowed. My 13 year old grandson came to live with me last July due to the fact that my son's house was too small and the arrangements have worked well. He is now well balanced and doing well at school following numerous exclusions and violent outbursts. He never sees his mother who doesn't want him. When I saw that Notts Healthcare Trust were getting involved in this campaign I immediately applied for tickets and was fortunate to get some. My grandson has never been anywhere or experienced anything like it. He loved it! ! From a health and well being perspective I cannot think of anything more worthwhile than this campaign. His face shone with excitement - I have never seen him so animated. Well done to Rachel and her team. From a user and staff perspective I hope the Trusts's involvement continues for a long time.
