Think of the ideal hospital in which to undergo an operation and the Peninsula Treatment Centre would fulfil all your needs.

I had already heard complimentary reports of the hospital (which deals with orthopaedic medicine) when I was offered a booking into it last September for a shoulder operation, but I was not prepared for the superb treatment I received. It is relatively small, quiet, well-organised and spotless. The medical staff are second to none, the nurses mature and caring and the physiotherapists helpful. I never had to wait long for treatment (including in Outpatients) and I was encouraged all times to ring for advice or help whenever I needed to. When I had problems with the other shoulder this year I asked my GP to refer to me back to the Peninsula, and the same surgeon, Mr Wudecke, and had the same excellent treatment again. I cannot speak too highly of this establishment, which is obviously organised well from the top down. I cannot think that any private hospital could offer finer treatment.
