"The delivery suite!"

About: Good Hope Hospital

I am so discusted. I was told I might be in early labour and I am 23 weeks pregnant. I went to a and e in extreme pain! And was left waiting for 6 hours for someone to come and see me before I discharged myself to go to my own hospital! I was warned to not go to good hope as they discriminate that you chose Burton. I was also offered toast and it still hadnt come two hours later. Good nutrition for a pregnant lady! When I asked how long it will be the midwife said all the doctors are busy. Surely a midwife can check my cervix for opening? I am so discusted and will not let anyone come to this delivery suite?

Thank you for posting & sincere apologies for the way you were treated.

If you're happy to make yourself known to me directly I will pick this up with the staff involved. Obviously I will pass on your feedback more generally to the A&E & Midwifery teams.

Regards

Richard
