I was very impressed with the entire service that I received from the NHS, starting with a referral from my GP to the hospital. I was kept in the waiting room slightly longer than expected for my consultant's appointment, but otherwise this all went well. I had a pre-op clinic scheduled, but this had to be rearranged twice. The first new date was OK, but the second was awkward for me. However, the hospital were able to change it back to the original date, but at Warrington Hospital. The pre-op all went smoothly. The nurses and other staff in Halton Hospital were very caring, informative and helpful during my day-visit for surgery. They put me at ease. The surgery itself seemed to go well, and I was back home before too long. Very good service.
