I was a patient on Ward F on 13th and 14th November, 2014. The care and attention shown by all involved including my surgeon was exemplary. The only quibble is with the dodgy dissemination of information following the procedure. I was told that 'within about seven days if i received a letter inviting me to attend a follow- up clinic the biopsy tests had been negative. If, however, I received no communication I could assume that they had proved positive. There were no instructions about how I would learn of the results or what i should do if i hadn't received an invitation to attend a clinic, So here i am the following Friday wondering what to do. Rest assured I do not wish to endure another week like the one I have just spent. Nor look fprward to a future of what? Nobody has said what comes next!
