"My son's visit to A&E"

About: Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

My son woke up with a pain in his chest, his GP saw him immediately, suggested that the linings between his lung may have torn and told us to visit A&E.

His breathing deteriorated and an x-ray confirmed what the GP had suggested.

He was admitted to the N&NUH and a drain inserted to remove the build up of air between the lung linings.

Thank you. The staff on the Buxton ward were excellent, caring, friendly and treated us kindly too.
