Was diagnosed with osteoporosis in 2005. Fractured ankle and lumbar vertebrae more recently. Self-referral through my doctor after experiencing back and groin pain.
Physiotherapist very thorough in gathering information and answered all my questions. She did some manipulation which alleviated the groin pain, but the hands on treatment was limited due to the degenerative state of my back.
Physiotherapist went through other options available and I asked to be referred to the stability class. Referral was very efficient and I attended 4 classes almost immediately.
I have been a member of several groups for over 10 years and have always attended Pilates classes. The class I attended at St Helens hospital was far superior to anything I had experienced before. The class was small and the personal tuition given was excellent. I cannot praise Bannah enough. She continually ensured that everyone did each exercises correctly so maximum benefit was achieved at all times.
