"Ward B6 -Staff and facilities"

I checked into Ward B6 in April 2009 for an operation and overnight stay.

The whole experience was five-star from everyone and everything I came into contact with on that day.

The high standards and professionalism gave me courage and a nice feeling of being kept safe. And it is this that facilitated my ability to go home later that day.

Icing on the cake that day? - lots of it. The ward staff with their welcoming friendliness and 'nothing is too much trouble' care. The anaesthetist, who listened and acted to ensure I felt good afterwards, and came to the ward to check for himself. The Theatre sister who came to collect me. The ward cleaner who carried out her duties in a reassuring, thorough way.

Everything was immaculate.

I had been a patient a few years ago, so the above is also based on that experience.
